The project was selected for The Screen 2026, a collaborative projection mapping show presented by OFFF Barcelona, and was projected on the façade of Disseny Hub Barcelona from April 16–18, 2026.
Flip Tiles comes from a childhood memory of traditional geometric floor tiles. These familiar patterns, deeply rooted in everyday architectural spaces, became the starting point for the project.
The piece transforms these tile patterns into a living system of mathematical animation, where tiles flip, pulse, and evolve across the surface. the work pays tribute to the city’s mosaic heritage while reflecting on the visual language of the tiled floors I grew up with, creating a dialogue between memory, architecture, and rhythm.
